Heraldry
I love medieval heraldry, and reinterpreting it with new characters and layouts. The first shield's inscription reads "After sad things, happy ones." This motto appeared on the shield of the Gough of Wilsbury in 1619. The second shield's inscription reads "Peace and plenty," a motto used by Charles Edward Fair, Esquire of Athlone, county Westmeath, Ireland.
